The Drummist
Lyle Tribe has been playing drums for more than 40 years, performing virtually all commercial music styles.
In 2001 he created the Rhythm 101 Drum Set Performance and Workshops for schools and Special Needs programming.

PERFORMANCE
The Performance opens with an exciting original drum solo that sets the mood for this introduction to rhythm. With humor and interactive participation, Lyle puts a wide variety of drums and hand percussion instruments into students hands as they explore the basics of rhythm and time in music; as well as coordination and ambidexterity.
WORKSHOPS
Participation is the key to Lyle's Rhythm 101 Workshops which incorporates drums and hand percussion instruments and is available for all ages and ability levels from beginner to advanced students.
SPECIAL RHYTHM WORKSHOPS

SPECIAL ABILITIES WORKSHOP
This Workshop is uniquely designed for persons with special abilities and encourages active participation with a wide variety of drums and percussion instruments from beginning to end.
5 DAY RESIDENCY PROGRAM
This Program is designed to prepare students for continued studies in all instruments. Components of this program include: Introduction to Time in Music; Counting, Feeling and Keeping Time and Tempo; Creating percussive rhythms; Dynamics; Coordination and Ambidexterity.
